Citizen Azeroth: Rep Experiment 2 - Today's update

I'm going to ding 30 just before leaving Stonetalon for Ashenvale.

Still haven't touched Ashenvale, Tarren Mill, or Thousand Needles.

Over 350 quests completed.

Amazing.

Poor Horde.

Using your advice I just gained exalted with every alliance faction (besides gnomer, of course)! Whoo!

I got Darnassus and Stormwind at 40. Didn't get Ironforge until 45, but most still find that impressive.

I'm just listening to your podcast number 61, and on it you said "I'm playing the leveling spec of paladin: Protection"

I have to whole-heartedly disagree that protection spec is not a one-on-one leveling spec.

Try going Retribution spec, grab a big 2 hander and do it properly!

If you're AOE tanking multiple mobs (5-10 mobs at once) then you're the correct spec, but 1v1 protection is going to take hours kill stuff...

My main is a raiding retribution spec DPS paladin. Check out my blog for more help on ret-gearing/playing the spec.

I think I need to make myself clearer on the next episode:

I am NOT soloing on this spec. I am duoing exclusively with a combat rogue.

I like my protection spec. I've played retribution and I don't care for it. My plan is to be a pure tankadin when the time comes, and I am enjoying the protection spec immensely.

But then again, I also strongly prefer protection warriors to fury or arms, so that's consistent.
